Pricing
Fil One is priced at $5.99 / TB / month, with a $5.99 / month minimum. If you store less than 1 TB, you are billed the $5.99 minimum.
No egress fees, no per-request charges, no hidden costs.
This is the self-service Pay as you go plan. For volume pricing on 1, 3, or 5-year terms, the Business plan is arranged with the sales team. See Billing.
How billing is calculated
Your bill is based on the average amount of data you store over the billing period:
- Stored bytes are measured as daily readings and averaged across the billing period. A metering job reports the running average twice a day (around 07:00 and 19:00 UTC).
- Storage is charged at a single flat rate of $5.99 per TB per month, applied to your average usage, with a $5.99 / month minimum. Any period that works out to less than $5.99 is billed at the $5.99 minimum. There is no separate "first TB" tier — it is one linear rate plus a floor.
Storage is measured precisely and in decimal units (1 TB = 1,000 GB), so you are billed for what you actually store rather than being rounded up to the next whole TB.
Examples
Illustrative figures for a steady amount stored for the full month, at $5.99 per TB with the $5.99 monthly minimum applied:
| Average stored | Monthly bill |
|---|---|
| 500 GB | $5.99 (minimum applies) |
| 1 TB (1,000 GB) | ~$5.99 |
| 1.5 TB (1,500 GB) | ~$8.99 |
| 2 TB (2,000 GB) | ~$11.98 |
These figures are illustrative. Your invoice is the source of truth for exact amounts — open the Billing page in the dashboard to see your current usage and charges.
If the amount you store changes during the month, it is averaged first. For example, storing 2 TB for the first 10 days and 0.5 TB for the remaining 20 days averages to 1 TB, billed at $5.99 for that month.
These are the prices for new customers. Organizations that subscribed before the move to $5.99 keep their earlier terms: $4.99 / TB / month with a $4.99 / month minimum, or, for accounts created before any monthly minimum was introduced, per-unit pricing with no minimum. The Billing page shows your own rate.
